That being said, it was a little longer than I liked and I think for people who haven't read the comics it would probably be a little hard to wrap your head around. This movie did a great job of capturing the continued tension and friendship between Bm and Sm as well as showing some classic moments in comic book history like superman regenerating from the sun and batman keeping 100% gun killing free which is very important to me"

## [1] "This was so far off the comic book it's weird to see people say that only true comic book fans would understand or like this movie. I think it was horrible and I thought batman was totally out of character. He (batman) was unreasonable and was the real bad guy of the movie. Superman did not get drunk with power but was attacked by batman based on a hunch or a gut feeling. Not to say batman wasnt cautious of superman's powers (in fact superman and the bat were best friends for like 20 years and superman kinda just stopped reaching out to the bat and that was because he was getting drunk on power and justifiably needed to be taken out). Batman is suppose to be a smart and reasonable guy but I don't see that portrayed in the movie. Lex luther seemed pretty off character. And Alfred probably would have made a better Batman than ben. Alfred was totally off character. He has this weird spin off of Tony stark instead of the humble and caring Alfred we all know. There are so many other things but these are some of the reasons I thought this movie was awful. But I will say this, it would seem the movie was setting up for justice league so I can see why the movie took a path so far away from the actual story. The movie version is pretty backwards in a lot of ways but I guess if they want the movie version to make sense they had to do it this way. I can also see that if superman did get drunk on power that there would be no coming back to redeem yourself after that and superman was a huge part of the justice league."

## [1] "Just got back from viewing B v. S and all I can say is contained awesomeness. There is so much I want to say but Snyder showed the mercy rule to Marvel movies. Cinematically there is no comparison and I'm glad that he only gave us a snippet of the Justice league because it would not be fair to the other super hero movies. I enjoy Marvel movies but if Snyder directs Justice league properly it will make Avengers look elementary. If the Batman movie is done properly it will blow the doors off The Dark Knight. You can just feel this Batman would be on a another level and we get a snippet of this characters greatness. It's not even close!!!!"

## [1] "This movie only made me want more Batman and Wonder Woman but made me feel nothing for Superman. My problem with this movie is that they took the most popular things from both Batman and Superman and tried to shove them down our throats. It is way too soon to have them fight, in almost every continuity Batman just never trusted Superman in the beginning. They relied too much on the Frank Miller Batman arch that it doesn't fit in character with a supposedly experiences Batman. I have loads to say but it would spoil the movie turn away now if you don't want to have it ruined. \n\n*Spoilers beyond this point*\nThe death of Superman came way too soon, this was something that should have came after the first Justice League movie. Secondly, they have almost already made it know that they are going to do the Injustice story line at some point after the Darkside story, because of the dream sequence and because of the Flash coming back from the Future to warn Batman that Lane is the key to Superman's sanity. So again Snyder and crew basically took what is popular at the time of creating the script and threw it all together in a giant mess. \n\n*End spoilers*\nThe only thing they got right was Batman's fighting style from the Arkham games because that is the Batman that can take out rooms of multiple thugs with little to no problem, Nolan's Batman couldn't hold his own half of the time in a straight up fight. All the Nolan version ever did was sneak away, set off a trap, use a gadget and that's it....hell he got knocked out by crashing his bike in a safe manner. Nolan's Batman was just a wacko in a batsuit with high tech gadgets and that \"League of Assassin training\" did nothing for him. Anyways the movie was good for the action and that's it."

Ben Aflack redeemed himself in the superhero world as Batman, Henry Cavail is amazing retuning as Superman, Jesse Eisenburg was nuts as Lex Luthor, and Gal Gadot was dynamite as the Wonder Woman. \n\nThe whole idea of this movie was centered on the question of what kind of hero we want. The kind that breaks the rules to save lives or one from another world with the best of intentions but the powers of a God. One whose close to becoming a criminal vigilantly or one the those worship as a savior? \n\nThe emotional conflict of both of these characters are personified as the two struggle to find what kind of hero the world needs. Part of me feels we're going through this right now with the current election cycle. But I want to focus on the movie. \n\n\"The Bat is dead. Bury it.\" One of the best lines of this movie. I can't wait for the Justice League."

## [1] "Shame they kill Superman off (even though they leave strong hints that he will be back its so cheesy - they did this in Superman Returns.) - I mean Batman is stopped by Lois from killing Superman when she tells him that Superman's kidnapped mother Martha Kent has the same name that Bruce Wayne's mother had (Martha Wayne) they then join forces with the help of Wonderwoman played by former Israeli solider and model Gal Gadot to fight the huge monster created by Lex Luthor's son using General Zod's body. But for Superman to sacrifice his own life by killing the monster with Krptonite that ends up going through his heart as well is a little dry and boring. #RIPSUPEMAN #BatmanVSuperman Snyder- keep away from Superman. You have taken away the beauty and symbol of hope from the character."

## [1] "Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice is a great film, but not an excellent one. It relies too much on the action and sometimes, the action is too much CGI and not enough actual choreography. And speaking of CGI: some scenes were out of wack. Like they didn't spend enough time on it. Example: Doomsday was a mess. Literally. That's not what Doomsday looks like. At least they got his background half right. But I think they could've done tons better on Doomsday. Heck, they could've left him out for all I care! After all - it's Batman v Superman, NOT Batman AND Superman v Doomsday. \n\nThe action and CGI in this film is great, don't get me wrong, but story is important, too. As I mentioned earlier, when you label the movie \"Batman v Superman\" I expect more fighting between Batman and Superman. There wasn't enough, unfortunately. They were too focused on setting up Justice League, which is not entirely bad, but it detracted from the meaning of the film: to see Batman and Superman beat the heck out of each other! After watching several comic book movies, it seems that in order to have an amazing comic book film, you need to have a combination of good action sequences and an amazing, sometimes complicated plot. Most comic book films fail at this, but a few excel in it. However, comic book movies are meant to be fun, visually awe-inspiring, exciting and action-packed - not Oscar-worthy pictures. Batman v Superman did this pretty well, and the story that is present in this film is still pretty good. Could've used some tweeks here and there, but overall: a solid story line with plot holes that I hope get filled in by later installments. But honestly, could've been tons better! They should really rename the film to \"Dawn of Justice\" and keep it that way.\n\nI also want to quickly mention that the sound and the soundtrack might be \"loud\" to some viewers, but I thought the music was great; what a beautiful score composed by Hans Zimmer and all the sound affects were pretty neat. Yeah, it might get loud at some points, but get over it! Zimmer never disappoints me; even his worst work is a masterpiece in a sense. I just hope other people appreciate his hard work as much as I do. \n\nAs for the actors portraying their characters, no one was as good as Ben Affleck. He IS Batman. He took all the other Batman's before him and made them look like children. Affleck was phenomenal; everytime he showed up, I felt my heart beat intensify. Henry Cavil repraised his role as Superman, who is probably one of the best Superman's in my book. Gal Gadot was a wonderful Wonder Women; I was honestly not expecting anything from this character, but she delivered in the most amazing way possible. Jesse Eisenberg wasn't the best Lex Luther, but he played the part well enough to make me believe it. Maybe even make me feel uncomfortable at times. And let's not forget Jeremy Irons, who played the second best Alfred ever, after Michael Caine's Alfred of course. Overall, the cast and supporting cast was great and kept the movie going; the dialogue that made it into the movie was really good and impressively used by the actors as well. \n\nWhen it comes to comic book movies, Batman v Superman is definitely more comic-booky. And, just like how our protagonist Superman is the most controversial man alive in the film, Batman v Superman might just go down in history as the most controversial movie ever, even more so than Man of Steel. But, when it comes to realism, not everyone is gonna like the same movies. Some will love it, some will not; it's a fact of life. As for the critics, don't let them determine what movie you will and will not see. If you want to see something, go see it. What matters most is your own opinion, not other people's opinions. For all you know, you may love it while everyone else is hating it. Different movies speak to different people. And Batman v Superman is a movie that is most certainly not for everyone. And that is entirely okay. But I enjoyed it; even if it wasn't everything I hoped for, it was still pretty darn good. I can't wait to see the R-rated version of this film. It's something I definitely will have to watch again, but definitely not again in theaters. \n\nActing: 9.5/10\nStory: 7/10\nSpecial-Affects: 8/10\nSound: 9.5/10 \nAppeal: 8/10\nOverall Score: 8.4/10"

## [1] "SPOILERS AHEAD:\n\nBvS was real bad. Many scenes were filled with unnecessary overhyped music. The characters were not well developed, Batman and Alfred both have salt and pepper hair when Alfred is supposed to be much older and supposed to have been the one to raise the orphaned Bruce. The first hour and a half, there was nothing but talking. The foreshadowings were not subtle at all. This is the first time I see Batman using a GUN with real BULLETS to shoot at enemies. Batman is STRONGLY opposed to murder or the use of unnecessary and excessive force. Lex Luther was obviously much younger than Batman/Superman and they didn't explain his character well. He behaved more like a the Joker than himself, I don't remember him being schizophrenic. Superman was presented as a character that was constantly suffering and in pain within but there's no reason for that. At times, his character can be stiff. A waste of my time and money. How the hell is Batman's suit bullet proof but yet could still get stabbed? The movies name for God sake is supposed to be Batman Vs Superman it should have been called Batman and Superman Vs audience. Their fight was all hype, no bite and pathetically short."

## [1] "So the cast is great. Affleck plays a great Batman, Cavill has been an awesome pick for a Superman from the Start. Love Wonder Women. The sneaks of the Flash and Aquaman look good. The Flash looked a little weird if that was him in the dream sequence warning to Bruce. Don't pull a Wolverine liberty with the costumes like they did with Deadpool. Know why the new deadpool is a hit? Its as close to the comics as you can get. It looks like deadpool almost exactly.\n\nSo that being said. The beginning part of the movie was really, really boring. Really hard to watch. The Desert conflict was unnecessary. Was a poor frame up of Superman. Didn't get that at all. Some Random bullet that links back to Lex corp. All of the dream sequences completely cut out would have been great.\n\nBatman's dream in the desert and the warning. Not even taken advantage of. Its literally like taking three different comic books and shoving the pages between one another and expecting the reader to follow. Kinda got ridiculous after a while. \n\nLex Luthor cast option was the only one I hated. Should have cast Bryan Cranston from Breaking Bad.\n\n So it appears they're using this movie to set up the Justice league. So hopefully there will be good story telling there. Let's go with the Justice League and Justice League Unlimited available on Netflix as a comparison. Great story telling there. \n\nFor this Superman vs Batman? Spider Man 3 effect with Shotgun editing. What is the Spider-Man 3 effect? Too many Villains/Hero's, too big of a story to tell (Backgrounds, Turning them into villains/heros, too little time to tell it) This is why Marvel shines. Each hero has had their own movie first as a set up which brings them together we know their back story, we know the characters and have even come to expect them. So each hero needs a movie and we need a Nick Fury style Batman. This could have been Done with Batman making cameos in all the other heros films, kinda like a Nick Fury. He keeps bumping into heros and is watching them so to speak, or working with them. Then realized the potential of the Justice league. \n\nDo not screw up the Flash... Understand? The show is literally awesome. So don't mess it up. \n\nAlso If you're going to do a Green Lantern Story Cast a John Stewart version. Hal Jordan is good. But John Stewart is an excellent Green Lantern."

## [1] "Movie Spoiler Alert: \nReluctantly I went to see Superman vs Batman, I must say I'm glad I did. Very captivating with unexpected turn of events. The beginning had the audience wondering why would Superman be fighting Batman? It also had us wondering what's up with Lex, it appears as if he was himself yet filling in as the joker as well (obviously playing rival to the two). Both Superman and Batman were very handsome and plays to the alpha-male phenomenon. As usual Superman ever the calm guy and batman the impulsive really is highlighted here. It became obvious quickly that Superman is way superior to batman as they battled it out, batman was good with gadgets, you know he needed a little help. A surprise guest star in the movie had women cheering to see her again, it's been quite a while since we saw 'W' in a movie we missed her. The end brought tears of sadness to everyone's eyes and the very end had audience waiting to see when Marvel plans on releasing part two, let's just say there's no Justice League without Superman.
